Circa 1850 Heavy Body Paint & Varnish Remover quickly and easily strips off multiple layers of oil, latex and epoxy paint; oil and latex varnish; polyurethane; moisture cure; lacquer and shellac. Its gel formula is ideal for exterior use and vertical surfaces. Safe to use on fine furniture – will not raise wood grain, harm most glue joints or veneers, or damage patina. May soften plastic and fiberglass. Circa 1850 Heavy Body Paint & Varnish Remover is non-flammable and almost odourless. Avoid working in direct sunlight or wind. Wear gloves and protective eyewear. Protect work area with polyethylene or foil sheet. Pour some remover into a foil or metal container. Brush a generous coat onto .1-.4m² (1-4ft²) of surface and let stand for 15 minutes or until paint blisters. Keep area being stripped completely saturated with the stripper. If stripper dries out, reapply to reactivate. Remove softened finish using a scraper. If the finish is exceptionally thick and some residue remains, repeat the procedure. Remove finish residue with steel wool dipped in remover. Allow the surface to dry. Sand wood surfaces lightly prior to staining or refinishing.

How to Apply Circa 1850 Tung Oil
Circa 1850 Tung Oil is a natural oil extracted from the nut of the oriental tung tree. Tung Oil has been used for centuries to protect and beautify the wood. Thinned for easier application, Circa 1850 Tung Oil penetrates deep into the pores of the wood to strengthen the wood fibers to provide the low-luster, hand-rubbed finish you’d expect from a master craftsman. Circa 1850 Tung Oil protects the wood from accidental spills and watermarks. Made by Swing Paints.
